2009 Milton Keynes Tennis Club - Championships.
Sign up sheets for this year's Club Championship events are now available in the clubhouse.
There are events for both adults and juniors (singles and doubles)
Entries need to be confirmed by 21st June. Plate events will also be run this year.
Club finals day will take place over the last weekend in September. Good luck to everyone!

New Head Club Coach: Applications Now Closed.
We are looking to recruit a qualified coach to develop tennis for all ages and standards at our club. This is a great opportunity for an incoming coach to initiate new activities to augment the existing tennis programme. There is great potential to expand adult and junior groups, and increase the range of courses available. The position would suit an entrepreneurial, enthusiastic and energetic coach seeking an opportunity to make an impact on the provision of tennis activities to all levels of the local community. Free club night
Do not forget free club night for anyone who has played previously in April on Wednesday evening from &pm. and Sunday mornings from 10 am. Come and meet us.
Juniors Triumph
Milton Keynes Tennis Club win every league!
The Milton Keynes winter league has just ended and Milton Keynes Tennis Club juniors have, for the first time ever, won all six leagues at every age group U. 18 A and B, U. 15 A and B and U. 12 A and B. The junior teams are organised by the junior coach Gary Wakefield who is supported by a team of part time coaches; Jayne Wakefield, Adrian Shaw and Steve Sumpter. The juniors are now looking forward to the summer season and are preparing to defend the four leagues that they won last summer.
Milton Keynes has always been a successful junior club having won a number of winter and summer leagues but it has never won every league at every age group. In fact this is the first time that this has ever happened in the history of the tennis league.
The club is currently looking for a Head coach who will be able to enhance the junior tennis programme and also take responsibility for adult coaching. Anyone interested in finding out more about this position can find details on the club website.
The attached photo shows some of the junior players and Gary collecting the trophies won last year at the tennis league presentation evening held in September. This September they look forward to collecting even more!!
